Talking a night at ATCO
Well.... i went to atco with the LS1 crew... and it was a great and not so great night!


lets start with the great part!

i've never really hooked ok til tuesday..ATCO RULEZZ
so i tried out my cubanized Ram air system... and powershifting..

i went 12.40@116.95 (almost 117!!!!!) this was incredible...!!!!!! 2.0 60ft ... i bogged bad ...

then i went 12.08@111.7 1.76 60ft!!!! .... now i couldnt get 4th gear to go in til the very end .. thats why the MPH was so low.. BUT DAMN still a 12.0!!!!!!!! my car is really performing like i never thought it would!.. it should have been my 1st 11sec pass. but oh well there is always next time..

the NOT SO GREAT PART

well.... right after the 12.0 pass the Driveshaft did not hold up.. it shattered ... thanks god that it did not take the rear or the tranny.... ouch it was a bad night... did not get home til like 4:30 AM!!
BUT thanks to my buddies we all stayed together to the very end!...and they helped me 100%...
Thanks to all!

also HUGE thanks to Cartek...!!!! they got my back on the road with a new driveshaft like 5 hours later after i broke!

Racing is fun!! breaking is part of racing... BUT breaking is NOOOOOOO fun

wow, thats awsome. you got a strong car. almost the same mods and ur a second quicker than me. whats ur weight, and what do u launch and shift at. thx drew

well at englishtown i never actually hooked.... and i was launching at 3K

at atco i launched at 4K and hooked!.... shifting.... well... i shift almost hitting the limiter... my shiftlight is set for 6K and i shift when i see the light...so by the time i actually shift it should be around the 6200 mark..


and also... I WENT almost 3MPH FASTER AFTER THE INSTALL OF THE CUBAN RAMAIR! ...so it seems that i freaking did something..

kewl, havetn had much time this year at the track. Launched at 3500 and bogged shifting at 5500 ran a 13 flat
